Hayate recalls his breakup with Athena while conversing with Sakuya. Ayumu takes Hinagiku to a Ferris wheel overlooking cherry blossoms. At the Aizawa mansion, the group searches for the missing Nagi. Hinagiku confesses to Ayumu that she betrayed him and loves Hayate, a feeling that began when they were together at the Hakuou clock tower during her birthday. Ayumu accepts this as a friendly competition. Sakuya discusses Hayate’s family, revealing his older brother. Hayate eventually finds Nagi alone, watching stars that remind her of Yukariko. Although he cannot cheer her up, his effort comforts her, and she asks him not to leave her side. The episode concludes with everyone watching fireworks for Sakuya's birthday.
