Lynn dreams of Edward driving a carriage with Arthur before racing Cathy at school. Elizabeth fears strong winds, and Vivian asks Lynn to find a meadow for her horse. Lynn and her friends meet Paul, who invites them to Peggy’s wedding to Eric. Paul urges Peggy and Eric to meet at a bridge at 4 pm, but they only stare at the water. Frustrated, Paul confronts his brother, who fails to speak to Peggy. Lynn questions Peggy, who refuses to explain her hesitation. At home, Peggy’s father insists she marry Eric, citing family obligations and Eric’s children. The group pleads with the father, but Eric intervenes. Peggy’s mother supports her choice, and Isabelle’s call regarding Eric’s feelings convinces the father to agree. Peggy and Eric eventually marry.
