HIDARI (Pilot Film)

A legendary Edo-era craftsman named Jingoro Hidari is the subject of many stories, though his existence remains unconfirmed. His sculptures are found across Japan. After losing his foster parent and right arm due to betrayal by his senior apprentices, Jingoro seeks revenge using a mechanical prosthetic arm and with the help of his companion, “Sleeping Cat.” He becomes known as Jingoro “Hidari” for his skill in using carpentry tools with only his left arm, as “hidari” means “left” in Japanese. He confronts one of his enemies, “Inumaru,” in a deadly battle.
