Raynare extracts Asia’s Sacred Gear, killing her, and returns the body to Issei while noting the risks of such removal. She remains skeptical of his power, believing it merely doubles strength and poses no threat to her. However, Issei’s intense emotional distress triggers an awakening in his Sacred Gear, revealing hidden potential. Enraged, he overcomes impalement to strike Raynare down with a single blow. Rias arrives, reprimanding Raynare for underestimating Issei and harming her subordinate. Raynare shifts to human form, pleading for protection to regain his trust. Disgusted by her manipulation and heartbroken, Issei commands Rias to execute her. After Raynare dies, Rias restores Asia to life as a bishop.
