The second semester begins with Irina enrolling in Kuoh Academy alongside Issei, where she reintroduces herself to the Occult Research Club as a Brave Saint and Michael's Ace. After school, she finds a depressed Rossweisse at Issei's home, abandoned by Odin, while Issei and Asia go shopping for a welcoming party. On their return, Diodora supports a stumbling Asia, revealing his identity as the Devil she once rescued and proposing marriage. Later, Gasper confirms party preparations are complete, and Azazel arrives, mocking Issei's popularity among children with nicknames like Breast Dragon Emperor. The following day, Issei and Asia practice for a sports day three-legged race after being tricked by Kiryuu. Issei dreams of Asia marrying Diodora and wakes in denial. Rias shows numerous marriage invitations from Diodora, which she plans to discard, before revealing the Rating Game tournament details and their first opponent, Diodora Astaroth.
