Gasper destroys a Magician transportation circle while Azazel kills Katerea using his Downfall Dragon Spear, losing an arm. Vali admits he is the traitor and threatens Issei's parents, prompting Issei to activate his Balance Breaker. Issei absorbs Divine Dividing power into his Boosted Gear, significantly increasing his strength to damage Vali. Bikou intervenes to flee with Vali before a counterattack. Issei then asks Michael to let Asia and Xenovia pray without pain. Later, Kiba and Gasper master their Sacred Gears at Sirzechs' request. Azazel becomes the Occult Research Club advisor and informs the group that Sirzechs ordered Rias's peerage girls to move into the Hyodo Residence. Rias subsequently asks Sirzechs to renovate the house.
