After being defeated by Xenovia and Irina, Issei and Kiba learn from Rias that Fallen Angel Leader Kokabiel stole the Excalibur swords. Frustrated by his loss, Kiba leaves the Occult Research Club, prompting Issei to devise a plan for revenge. With Koneko’s assistance, Issei coerces Saji into joining them as they search for the two swordswomen. Upon finding Xenovia and Irina, the group forms an alliance to retrieve the stolen blades. Issei provides an Excalibur sword for Kiba to destroy, moving Kiba to accept their support. That night, the team gathers to execute their plan, while a mysterious young man appears beside Issei's client.
