Ep. 5: Satoko flees after witnessing Rika's death and survives the Hinamizawa Disaster

Satoko is shocked when Rika hides her before being taken away and killed. Witnessing this, a terrified barefoot Satoko flees and falls off a bridge. She stumbles back into Hinamizawa following the Great Hinamizawa Disaster. The trauma of seeing the remaining villagers die causes Satoko to enter a catatonic state. In the hospital, Oishi attempts to wake her for interrogation. He shares a cryptic message from Rena that suggests the motive behind Rika's murder. Satoko eventually regains consciousness and understands the message's meaning. However, she is subsequently killed by Rika's murderers.
