Ep. 23: The × Guard's × Duty

Gon and his friends travel to the servants' quarters to see Killua, where they meet Seaquant and Zebro. Discovering the house's extreme weight, they train to open the Testing Gate independently. Meanwhile, Killua endures torture from his brother Milluki to apologize to his mother. Upon learning his friends are at the estate, Killua's family relays this information. After his left arm heals, Gon, Leorio, and Kurapika complete their training and open the gate. The apprentice butler Canary initially blocks their path but is moved by Gon's conviction. Just before Canary allows them passage, Killua's mother attacks her and delivers a potentially false message from Killua to the group.
