Gon receives a message from his father via a cassette tape. He and Killua retrieve information about a memory card from an item box. Killua obtains a lead from his brother regarding a game that will be presented at an auction in Yorknew City. The two friends depart from Whale Island and begin their journey to Yorknew City. This segment is part of the Yorknew City arc and the Phantom Troupe arc, specifically identified as episode 2 out of 22 in that sequence.
