Banri Watanuki, a former resident, returns from training alongside Zange Natsume, his Secret Service agent. Soushi has known both Watanuki and Natsume since childhood, creating an awkward atmosphere for Ririchiyo. The group participates in a walk rally to gather signatures from all residents. After Ririchiyo and Soushi locate Karuta, Natsume discloses that Watanuki’s training was intended to protect the girl he loves. Following this revelation, Ririchiyo appears deep in thought as she experiences an irregular heartbeat.
