Ghosts invade the mansion, activating security measures that lock residents in place until morning. Ririchiyo struggles to express her feelings for Soushi in her room, while Natsume urges Watanuki to train all night in the hallway. In the cafeteria, Sorinozuka rests as Nobara plays shogi with maid Chino Kotomura, and in the kitchen, a hungry Karuta cooks a full-course meal. Soushi stays awake as Ririchiyo thanks him for his service before sleeping. Watanuki accidentally breaks the barrier, allowing the obariyon ghosts to enter. Although most are destroyed, more appear and jump on Ririchiyo's back, prompting Soushi to eliminate the remaining threats.
