Ep. 6: Karuta’s Inner World and the Nure-Onna Incident

Karuta spends much of her high school time in her own world, worrying Ririchiyo. Watanuki notes that few understand Karuta’s mind. Natsume encourages Ririchiyo to bond with her, though she lacks a method. Ririchiyo shares lunch, and Karuta reciprocates with treats at suppertime. The following day, Ririchiyo is amazed by Karuta’s cooking skills in home economics, helping her understand Karuta’s perspective. After school, a downpour brings a nure-onna into the building. Watanuki fails to defeat it, but Ririchiyo takes it down. The nure-onna revives and throws Ririchiyo and Watanuki out the window. Karuta arrives just in time to save them both from falling.
