Ep. 2: Inuyasha attempts to steal the Shikon Jewel after release from the Sacred Tree by Kagome

Following his release from the Sacred Tree by Kagome, Inuyasha intends to seize the Shikon Jewel to gain yōkai powers. Kaede places the Beads of Subjugation on him, granting Kagome the ability to control him verbally. The pair pursues a crow demon that has stolen and absorbed the Shikon Jewel. During the chase, Kagome successfully shoots the crow with a bow and arrow, causing the Shikon Jewel to shatter into pieces. This sequence of events marks a significant turning point in their ongoing conflict and the fate of the jewel.
