Myoga, the flea youkai servant of Inuyasha, arrives and reveals the truth regarding the deaths of Inu no Taisho and Izayoi, who are Inuyasha's father and mother respectively. Sesshomaru, identified as Inuyasha's half-brother, confronts him alongside his imp youkai servant Jaken, taking the revived Izayoi captive. Izayoi eventually breaks free and leads Inuyasha and Kagome to a spirit world. In this realm, it is recognized that Izayoi's face does not reflect in the water, confirming her spiritual nature.
