Shishigami is shocked that Inuyashiki survives a fatal blow and escapes. This event leads Inuyashiki to realize that Shishigami possesses a robotic body similar to his own. Following this confrontation, Inuyashiki investigates his new capabilities and begins using them to help and save other people. At the same time, Shishigami encounters a group of delinquents who have been harassing his best friend, Naoyuki Andou. Shishigami decides to confront these individuals directly. The narrative highlights the diverging paths of the two cyborgs as they react to their shared existence and the people around them.
