Enomoto treats Iriya’s illness and reveals the secret war’s final battle occurs on October 26. Naoyuki isolates himself at home until Enomoto’s helicopter retrieves him for school. He convinces Iriya to fight despite his wishes, easing her fears after he confessed his feelings. In the epilogue, Shiina writes a letter detailing Iriya’s past hardships and the military’s subsequent involvement. Kunihiro returns from investigating the Sonohara base without his memories of its secrets. The story concludes with Naoyuki cutting a Mysterious Circle into a grass field, marking the end of these events.
