Ep. 12: Irie Rejects Inheritance for Medicine, Kotoko Accepts Kin's Proposal

Irie informs his father that he refuses to take over the family business, preferring instead to pursue a career as a doctor. This revelation triggers a heart attack in Irie's father. While company employees visit the hospitalized senior in the hospital, one of them requests a marriage interview with Irie. Consequently, Irie meets Chris and decides to marry her. Kotoko overhears Irie telling oba-chan that he likes Chris and decides to give up on him. She then goes on a date with Kin, who officially proposes to her.
