On her first day of college, Kotoko finds it difficult to forget her kiss with Irie. Although she believes she has secured a place in Naoki's heart, an obstacle appears in the form of Yuko Matsumoto, who is described as smart, beautiful, and talented. Upon discovering that Yuko Matsumoto and Irie have joined the tennis club, Kotoko decides to join the club as well to compete with them. This development introduces a new challenge to her romantic pursuits and social standing within the campus environment.
