Ep. 18: Keita confronts Naoki over his treatment of Kotoko while Irie watches her sleep.

Kotoko faints during a nursing practice autopsy, prompting Keita to save her. While resting, Keita feels an urge to kiss Kotoko, which Naoki witnesses and confronts him about. Keita dismisses Naoki, believing he lacks respect for Kotoko. Meanwhile, Irie stares at the unconscious Kotoko until interrupted by a nurse. Upon waking, Kotoko returns home with Keita and encounters Irie’s mother. Naoki’s mother observes Keita’s chivalry compared to Naoki’s coldness and investigates him. She discovers Keita is a kind person, leading her to believe others would prefer him. The episode concludes with Keita expressing concern for Kotoko’s safety with Naoki and asking her to leave him for her own good.
