Ep. 17: Kotoko's Nursing School Friends Discover Her Secret Marriage to Naoki
On her first day of nursing school, Kotoko befriends Kikyou Motoki, Shinagawa Marina, Kamogari Keita, and Ogura Tomoko. She learns that Marina, Motoki, and Tomoko love Naoki and dislike his wife, Kotoko. Pretending not to be Naoki's spouse, Kotoko joins their scheme to identify the mysterious woman. When Naoki arrives with Mastumoto Yuuko, the trio assumes Yuuko is the wife and abandons their pursuit, leaving Kotoko upset. The next day, Naoki visits Kotoko's classroom, shocking her friends who then realize Kotoko is indeed Naoki's wife. Their sudden joy insults Kotoko. During dinner, a drunk Kotoko falls asleep after arguing with Keita. Keita later confronts Naoki for neglecting Kotoko, then blushes while practicing blood pressure on Kotoko, revealing his feelings. Naoki observes them laughing together and becomes jealous.
