The Jewelpets and three girls celebrate finding a second Magic Gem. Labra desires a gem, prompting Sapphie to explain that human and Jewelpet hearts must unite. Labra chooses Ruruka as a friend, but Ruruka harshly refuses, causing Labra to cry and unleash destructive magic. Ruruka calms her and agrees to friendship. The next day, Ruruka struggles with Labra’s clinginess, refusing Angela’s invitation to play. Ruby attempts to accelerate their bond with magic but fails. At school, Labra disrupts class and angers her teacher, while Angela’s ear flowers wither. Back at the cafe, Ruby, Garnet, and Sapphie worry about Angela’s absence. Ruruka tells Labra that true friendship requires mutual happiness. Labra realizes her mistake when Ruby announces Angela has run away, blaming Labra for the incident.
