The Red Moon prevents the quartet from returning to normal, making them formidable foes. Ruby encourages Chiari, offering a glimmer of hope. Rossa works at the Jewelpet cafe when the EK Mens visit, treating her like royalty while unknowingly trapping her in the Red Moon's influence. She turns evil, and the EK Mens take her to Jewel Castle, where Labra and Rossa witness the event and follow. Chiari, Ruby, and Sapphie arrive at the cafe to find Rossa missing. Nene and Ruruka deliver the bad news. At Jewel Castle, the EK Mens claim ownership, with Rossa demanding to be called Queen. The pets try to convince her to return to normal but fail. Kosuke's transformation worries Chiari, while Marie's group is shocked. Angela enters the castle to convince Takumi, but the Red Moon turns her evil as Takumi's plan succeeds. Labra searches for Angela at the academy, gets possessed by the EK Mens, and joins them. Kosuke believes they can gather enough Unhappiness energy. Chiari, Nene, and Ruruka are disgusted by the academy's state. Chiari feels depressed about Kosuke's change, but her friends cheer her up. Ruby tries to help Rossa with special soda and plans to use Magic Gems to reverse the boys' transformation. However, the EK Mens collect a powerful wave of Unhappiness energy, leaving Chiari with no options and little hope for saving everyone.
