Machiko rushes to school and collides with a Jewelpet, scattering her work. The Jewelpet, identified as King, uses Jewel Flash Magic to save her drawings. He later arrives at the Academy as a new classmate, reuniting with Machiko and delighting the girls with his sparkling Jewel Eyes. However, the Red Moon emits a dark gem that controls King, turning him rude and evil. He disrupts class, wears a Bancho outfit, and scares the girls with blackboard scratches. Worried, the girls attempt to reason with him, but he pranks them. At the Jewelpet Cafe, Machiko reveals King inspired her manga, proving he is not bad. The group decides to convince King he is good with Machiko's assistance.
