Ep. 44: Nobara and Alex are controlled by the Red Moon and torment Marie.
Sapphie and Rossa decorate a cake for Marie’s birthday at the Jewelpet Cafe before Nobara and Mutsumi arrive to collect it. That night, the Red Moon releases red jewels across Jewel Land, striking Nobara and a Scottish Fold Jewelpet named Alex, who seeks a Magic Gem. Under their control, Nobara and Alex return to the dormitory, treating Marie harshly and demanding she serve them. They force Marie and Mutsumi to perform exhausting tasks, including cycling to power a heater and cooking, while expressing disdain for Marie’s efforts. Worried about the Red Moon’s growing power, Jewelina takes action. Later, Nobara and Alex steal the Jewel Box key and use Jewel Flash magic to transform Magic Gems into clothing, revealing their plan to Marie, who is annoyed by their behavior.
