At the Jewelpet Cafe, Chiari, Nene, and Ruruka discuss graduation while receiving chocolates. Ruby advises Chiari to spend time with Kosuke, but the Red Moon overhears and casts a spell on the High School Quartet. Sapphie brings news about Mouri, who is found possessed in a ballerina outfit, emitting unhappiness magic. Garnet reports that Taira is similarly possessed. The girls split up to find Kosuke and Takumi. Chiari and Ruby locate Kosuke in a hole, where he attempts to hypnotize Chiari until Ruby uses Jewel Magic to escape. Meanwhile, Nene, Ruruka, and Sapphie find Takumi in an Alpaca costume, speaking harshly to Angela. The Red Moon’s manipulation of the boys intensifies, causing widespread unhappiness. Jewelina notes that the Red Moon has gone too far in destroying everyone's happiness through these dark possessions.
