High school baseball player Daisuke Iwashita witnesses his friend and teammate Shinichi Muroi die from injuries caused by team ace pitcher Mamoru Hanagasa. Following the incident, Daisuke is falsely accused of the murder and ostracized by the town. In a desperate move, he activates the Hell Link to confront Mamoru. When Mamoru dismisses Daisuke's request for a confession with laughter, Daisuke condemns him to Hell. Having avenged Shinichi, Daisuke relocates to a new town to begin a fresh life, fully aware that his soul is forfeit to Hell upon his eventual death.
