Depressed Akane Sawai lives as a hikikomori, communicating only with an online textmate. Her teacher, Yoshiki Fukasawa, visits repeatedly to urge her return to school, which irritates her. Akane decides to send Fukasawa to Hell, only to discover he is her textmate. Both characters are exhausted by life and seek an end. Fukasawa convinces Akane to help him reach Hell. There, he learns she will join him upon death. Although he feels regret, Akane remains strangely at peace with her fate. She instructs Fukasawa to wait for her in the afterlife, highlighting their mutual despair and connection.
