Ep. 1: Yui Hears About Light Music and Joins the Club

Yui Hirasawa begins high school without knowing which club to join. Ritsu Tainaka tries to recruit Mio Akiyama for the light music club, but it faces disbandment without four members. Ritsu and Mio convince Tsumugi Kotobuki, who planned to join the choir club, to become the third member. The trio puts up posters seeking a fourth member, which Yui sees. Misunderstanding the club's name, Yui applies, only to learn they need a guitarist. Although she cannot play, the members persuade her to stay after performing a short piece. Yui decides to join and purchase a guitar to learn the instrument.
