Ep. 3: Yui fails exams and begs friends for help to save the club from disbandment

Yui and her friends are taking midterm exams, but Yui fails because she practiced guitar instead of studying. Failing the retest means she cannot join club activities, which would cause the club to disband due to a lack of members. With only one day left before the retest, Yui has not studied enough and asks Mio, Tsumugi, and Ritsu for assistance. Mio provides effective help, whereas Ritsu proves to be more of a hindrance than a support. Several days after the retest, an exhausted Yui returns to the club room with perfect scores. To celebrate her success, the other girls ask Yui to play the guitar chords she had learned, but they discover she has completely forgotten them.
