After a city-wide blackout, Ken detects an anomaly at a nuclear plant attacked by ants. The Science Ninja Team arrives and floods the area by breaking a dam, as missiles are ineffective. They analyze a captured ant, discovering it is a precise robot that returns to its base via signal. Ryu pursues it in the God Phoenix while the others follow on the ground. They locate huge ant hills and enter a cave, only to be captured by Kattse in a reinforced glass dome. With air running low, the team escapes using a bomb. Meanwhile, the Reddo Imparus squad uses flamethrowers to clear ant swarms from the streets. Kattse launches a giant ant-shaped mecha, which the Reddo Imparus and God Phoenix drive into an underwater tunnel. The God Phoenix uses a nose mirror to focus sunlight into a heat ray, destroying the enemy, though Kattse manages to escape.
