Ep. 101: Ken and Jun investigate suspicious helicopter activity while Joe recovers his confidence.
Ken worries about Joe, who fears being sidelined, but their argument is interrupted by Nambu regarding tapped ISO circuits and interfering waves. Jun suggests using bracelets to locate the enemy, but Joe attempts to flee until Ken stops him. Ken volunteers to go with Jun, leaving Joe on standby with his airgun. Suspecting a helicopter at ISO headquarters, they board it to reach a base and retrieve a tape from Katse, only to find it already copied. They pursue a Devilstar disc into a swamp, where Galactor mobiles capture them. Joe, tracking his airgun’s transmitter, shoots their ropes and destroys the enemy vehicles. When the mobiles merge into a mecha, Joe pilots the G-2, dodging light rays and destroying the head with the Condor Machine. Joe’s bold smile returns, though he struggles with conflicting self-confidence and puzzlement.
