Katse defies Sosai X to prioritize conquering Earth over destroying the Mantle Plan, earning the rank of President Z. X secretly mocks this title as a symbol of murder while Galactor attacks Mantle Plan institutions with a jellyfish mecha. The damaged God Phoenix is forced to land in the desert and explodes. While the ISO rebuilds the vehicle, the Science Ninja Team receives new defensive weapons, which Nambu clarifies are not for killing. When the jellyfish mecha targets ISO headquarters, the revived God Phoenix is deployed. The team defeats the enemy in a mountain region using individual mecha weapons and Super Bird Missiles. Despite the victory, Ken doubts that developing new weapons will ever bring true peace.
