Katse investigates BC Island after a man resembling Giuseppe Asakura visits his grave, discovering an empty tomb for Giuseppe's supposed deceased child. The island-wide manhunt targets Joe, who escapes to a church and seeks shelter from Father Alan, an old friend. During treatment, Joe learns Alan was engaged to the Devil Star girl he killed. As Galactor forces breach the church, the Science Ninja Team arrives to confront the enemy. Alan then confronts the team, demanding to know Joe's identity as the Condor. Ken admits the truth, but Joe shoots Alan before the trigger is pulled, only to find the gun empty. Joe laments losing the island's most vital figure, leading to a solemn funeral for Alan while the God Phoenix departs.
