Ep. 85: Science Ninja Team intercepts Galactor spies in Utoland City while Jinpei befriends Dave.
Galactor agents infiltrate Utoland City by walking past the distracted Science Ninja Team guards. Jinpei hires a hippie named Dave to work at a restaurant, then leaves in his buggy and is stopped by a suspicious policeman. Jinpei flees and gets injured, leading Dave to care for him like a father figure. Joe suspects Dave and observes him communicating with Katse. The team uses Dave as bait for a trap, but Jinpei overhears the plan via his bracelet and goes alone to the ambush site. The other team members and Dave rush to help. A Chessknight mecha appears, and Katse forces Dave to reveal the team's true faces. Dave refuses, rescues Jun and Jinpei from a collapsing bridge, and Katse destroys the structure. Jinpei is saved by the G-5 craft and believes Dave was a friend, not a spy, as he cries on Jun's chest.
