Ep. 79: Science Ninja Team Investigates Spy Boronbo and Galactor Data Theft
Nambu tasks the Science Ninja Team with investigating ISO scientist Boronbo, suspected of spying for Galactor. Ken infiltrates the spy’s circle, learning Boronbo’s daughter is held hostage. Boronbo imprisons Ken and flees with stolen data. Joe and the team locate Boronbo’s car near the ISO headquarters, revealing an underground base entrance. After the team is ambushed, Ken pursues Galactor commander Katse into a moving mecha. Katse attempts to destroy Ken with a timebomb while escaping with the data. Ken rescues Boronbo’s daughter and escapes the collapsing base. Boronbo had programmed the data to self-destruct upon a switch activation, baffling Katse. Ken reunites the daughter with her father. Later, Rumi seeks her unknown benefactor. Ken, having reverted from his Gatchaman identity, silently watches Rumi pass him and retrieves her dropped rose.
