A Galactor staff member imprisoned for guessing Katse's secret directs the Science Ninja Team to investigate his former female pupil. Ken and Jun visit her school, learning from Professor Howard that the student had an IQ of 280, changed schools annually, and was originally male. After a rocket attack on the professor, Joe and the others battle a mecha while Ken assists in their escape. Meanwhile, the Galactor commander infiltrates the prison and kills the informant. The team confronts this tough commander, who collapses after Joe pierces his windpipe with an airgun. Following the trail, Ken and the others find Professor Hume dead, realizing the unremarkable old man they passed was Katse in disguise.
