Ep. 5: Ako confronts a wolf vision, Bunta escapes Grim Reaper Hospital, and Sho shares a hunter's tale.

Ako mourns her uncle, who died in India, and receives a cloth depicting wolf eyes. She is haunted by a wolf vision that repels when she holds the cloth. Sho suggests her uncle wanted her to understand. Later, Ako recounts the Grim Reaper Hospital legend to Sho, where Bunta and his father visited. Bunta overheard shinigami complaining about an arrogant doctor who prematurely condemned patients. Bunta alerted the spirits by dropping a coin, forcing him to drag his father out. The doctor later died three months after the head shinigami cursed him with that lifespan. Finally, Sho tells a story about a hunter who kills prey only to realize he is next in the chain, attacked by an unseen entity whose laugh echoes in the mountains.
