Ep. 12: Keima plays multiple games simultaneously to clear his backlog before experiencing burnout
Aired on December 23, 2010

Keima attempts to clear his spirit-capture backlog by playing six games simultaneously over the weekend, demonstrating rapid logical decision-making while enjoying each title. Exhaustion eventually sets in, prompting Elsie to leave him alone. Undeterred, Keima increases his workload to twenty-four concurrent games. He completes nearly all titles but collapses from fatigue. Hallucinations of the captured game girls urging him to persist restore his energy. He finishes the final game and enters the virtual world, where the girls celebrate with song and dance. The episode concludes with a preview for the second season and the introduction of a new character.
