Oct 7, 2010Internet-famous gamer Keima Katsuragi, who dislikes real women, signs a binding contract with the demon Elcea de Rux Ima, known as Elsie. They must capture evil spirits hiding in girls' hearts, or face death from magical collars. Keima’s first target is his classmate Ayumi Takahara, who is training for a track-and-field meet. He uses Elsie’s magic to display banners, annoying Ayumi but aiming to make her fall in love. After jealous upperclasswomen provoke a confrontation, Ayumi fakes a leg sprain due to lost confidence. Keima encourages her to believe in herself. When Ayumi prevents Keima from falling down stairs, they kiss, expelling the spirit. Ayumi wins the competition but loses her memories of Keima, though she blushes at his congratulations. Elsie then transfers to the school, claiming to be Keima’s sister.
