Ep. 2: Keima reluctantly accepts Elsie as his sister while targeting rich girl Mio Aoyama

Keima learns from Elsie that many runaway spirits remain in the city. Elsie claims to be Mari Katsuragi, Keima’s mother, husband’s illegitimate daughter, causing Mari to react angrily during a phone call about infidelity. Keima initially rejects Elsie as a sister because she does not meet his criteria, but he eventually accepts her after hearing her desire to succeed like her older sister. At a food stall, the pair identifies their next target, Mio Aoyama, a wealthy girl who buys all the yakisoba sandwiches. Keima assumes she is an easy tsundere target and attempts a love confession to break her defenses. The plan fails, resulting in Keima being beaten by Mio’s chauffeur. Following Mio to her residence, they discover she lives in a shabby apartment.
