Ep. 9: Idealistic Teacher Jun Nagase Becomes Possessed While Investigating Keima

Jun Nagase, an enthusiastic new substitute teacher under Yuri Nikaidō, initially views Keima as a problematic student due to his classroom gaming. After failing to connect with him and fleeing in fear, she is possessed by a spirit determined to help him open up. Keima and Elsie discover this possession, but Keima struggles with the case because he recognizes that romantic feelings require a sense of equality between teacher and student. While Keima leaves campus to devise a strategy, Jun mistakes him for skipping school and forces him to join her for lunch. She then invites him to discuss his supposed issues, a situation Keima dislikes as it complicates his usual rapid approach to capturing hearts.
