Ep. 9: Thoth announces exams while Yui and Apollon confront Cassandra's spirit and past trauma

Six months later, Thoth announces mid-term exams in three days, shocking Yui. She and Apollon study using Tsukito's notes, but both suffer from insomnia and strange dreams. Yui learns through these visions that Apollon once loved a woman named Cassandra, giving her divine power for foresight before she committed suicide, leaving him in anguish. Hades fears Cassandra's unabsorbed spirit haunts Apollon out of resentment. However, Cassandra instead possesses Yui to communicate with Apollon, helping him release his grief and break his spiritual shackle to graduate. The group eventually forgets the impending exams until Tsukito reminds them they have not studied at all.
