After Kazuya is rescued by Chizuru and survives a dangerous incident requiring CPR, he is discharged from the hospital. His friends drive him home, where he apologizes to Chizuru and arranges payment for her, eventually realizing his romantic feelings for her. Later, Kazuya and his family visit a hot springs resort, where they discover Chizuru’s grandmother is also staying there. Due to an arrangement by their grandmothers, Kazuya and Chizuru are assigned the same room. After confronting the elders, Chizuru accepts the situation. While Chizuru is bathing, she meets Kazuya’s grandmother, who reveals the anniversary of her husband’s death. Upon returning to their room, Chizuru relaxes and permits Kazuya to remain with her, deepening their bond in the resort setting.
