Ep. 10: Fubuki trains hard to qualify for remodeling while Mutsuki feels neglected by her absence.
Nagato and command girls analyze Admiral orders to locate the Abyssal base. Fubuki intensifies training to qualify for remodeling, causing Mutsuki distress over reduced time together. During a scouting mission, Fubuki engages Abyssal forces recklessly to gain experience, sustaining heavy damage and barely surviving. Waking in the docks, she is scolded by Mutsuki, who fears losing her like Kisaragi. That night, Fubuki apologizes and shares her commander’s inspiring words, witnessed by Akagi and Kaga. The next day, Akagi requests Fubuki as an escort, but Kaga tests her worthiness by pitting her against their planes. Despite severe damage and struggle, encouragement from Akagi and Mutsuki helps Fubuki pass the test, earning remodeling rights. Her remodel differs little from Yuudachi’s. Finally, Nagato designates the MI base as the next target for the fleet’s counterattack.
