Ep. 9: Yuudachi undergoes remodeling while Fubuki faces unit disbandment and a new assignment.

Yuudachi emits a strange glow and is taken to a factory, returning remodelled with new equipment. Fubuki and Mutsuki visit her, discovering this transformation. That night, Yuudachi learns of her transfer to Carrier Group One, while Fubuki is told Mobile Unit Five is disbanding and she must return to the Naval District. Distraught, Fubuki finds solace watching Yuudachi train, realizing her peers viewed her as a role model. As Fubuki sails away, a Wo-class carrier attacks the base with fighter bombers. No ships are lost, but the commander stays behind to ensure safety and goes missing. After the fleet rebuilds the facility, Nagato announces via the Admiral's final orders that Fubuki is to be remodelled.
