Ep. 8: Fubuki Helps Yamato Enter the Sea on a Raft

After arriving at Truk Island, Fubuki’s group meets Yamato, a battleship who has never sailed. Remembering her own past restrictions, Fubuki attempts to take Yamato swimming but is stopped by Nagato. That night, Fubuki secretly brings Yamato to the water, where the ship becomes extremely hungry. Nagato reveals that Yamato is kept in port due to her massive fuel consumption. Inspired by Mutsuki and Yuudachi, Fubuki constructs a raft to transport Yamato without using resources. During the journey, they encounter airborne Abyssals, which Yamato destroys using her weapons, earning slight approval from Nagato.
