The cause of death is an Egyptian knife, an artifact intended to be the centerpiece of a new exhibition. Kaoruko uncovers evidence that suggests Kisaragi is responsible for the murder. The investigation focuses on the connection between the mentor and the victim, raising suspicions about Kisaragi's involvement in the crime committed with the specific weapon from the upcoming display.
