Ep. 4: Shin confronts Schtrom after theorizing Kurt was an artificial experiment victim

Shin suspects Kurt was a victim of human experimentation, earning a medal from Diseum despite Merlin’s concerns about political involvement. Shin’s growing fame forces his tutors to test applicants, allowing Mark and Olivia to join his study group. He tasks Mark with upgrading his sword to handle enchantments. Meanwhile, the Security Bureau investigates Schtrom, who feigns remorse and agrees to study Kurt’s corpse. However, Schtrom is exposed when he learns Kurt’s name was never public. He attacks the castle, leading to a duel with Shin. Shin destroys Schtrom’s mask, revealing his Demonoid eyes, and uses a heat ray spell to vitrify the floor. While the council praises Shin, they misunderstand his magic. Schtrom ultimately survives and escapes the destruction.
