Shin attempts to gift Sizilien a ring, causing confusion before revealing it is for a defense enchantment, which frustrates his friends. At a public ceremony, Diseum awards Shin a medal and guarantees he will not be used for political or military purposes. Shin tries to help his friends improve their skills but struggles because his magic requires scientific knowledge they lack. Meanwhile, Schtrom and Miria secretly manipulate the Blusfia king. Merlin demonstrates that Shin’s teleportation spell can be learned, inspiring the group. Shin retrieves his new sword with a detachable blade, leading August to consider its military cost-saving potential for the upcoming war against Blusfia.
